Presentation at the Garden Club of America's
Zone I Annual Meeting
On September 20, I traveled to Little Compton, Rhode Island to speak at the Garden Club of America Zone I Annual Meeting. As the scholarship speaker, I presented on my dissertation research. Last April, the Garden Club of America awarded me their Coastal Wetlands Scholarship. I used this $5,000.00 award to directly fund my summer 2017 field season. With the award, I purchased small video cameras that I used to document behaviors at nests during flooding events.
Thank you to the Garden Club of America at large and the members of the Little Compton Garden Club!
